Strategic Planning Partner, Professional Organizer, Solutions Expert
My name is Leah Goard and I’m the driving force behind Organized to Thrive. Having been a successful business owner for over twenty years, I understand how hard it can be to create a sustainable, fulfilling life when you’re trying to grow a profitable business.
I am a natural-born entrepreneur who started my first business at the age of 19 and I have always been passionate about the various businesses that I have owned. As a result, like many entrepreneurs I have often fallen into the trap of working way too many hours, with way too little financial return, and not enough time to truly thrive in my life.
Sound familiar?
During the years that I have worked with entrepreneurs and business owners across the globe, I have observed that most are big picture “micro-managers”. They are passionate and powerful idea generators but they get tangled in the details. Stuck in permanent survival mode, they aren’t always able to identify the best way to put their concepts and plans into action or maximize their limited resources.
And because they spend so much time painfully spinning their wheels, their business often reaches a fraction of its full potential.
What Really Matters in Life
Upon returning to Canada after spending eleven years overseas, I became a mom. And in 2008, a series of synchronistic events led me to launch ORGANIZED TO THRIVE (formerly Intentional Spaces) on the breathtaking Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
Even though I didn’t spend a single penny on advertising, due to the exceptional results my clients were experiencing and through simple word of mouth within four months of launching my business my client roster was full.
Business was great… only I found myself once again in the same holding pattern: working too hard. I was like a mirror image to my clients—dealing with the exact same problems I was helping them solve. Once again I was faced with the prospect of working too hard and losing myself in my business.
Only this time, unlike in my previous businesses, I had one important non-negotiable factor—my time and commitment to my son and a deeper commitment to my own health and well being.
Yes, You Can Achieve Success without Letting Your Business “Own” You
I have spent thousands of hours consulting, organizing and assisting my clients in redesigning their businesses so that they can reclaim their lives and achieve tangible, sustainable success.
Through this process, I have discovered many simple, effective yet critical organizational strategies that have consistently proven to have an incredible impact on productivity, revenue and sanity.
Using these strategies as the foundation, I developed Organized to Thrive’s Blueprint for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. This system teaches you how to radically redefine your relationship with your business and gives you the tools to enable you to get off the perpetual treadmill and increase your focus and bottom line so you can create a healthier work/life harmony.
When I began using this system in certain areas of my own life, I quickly realized that I could actually apply the same system to ALL areas of my life and achieve the same exceptional results.
From Survive to Thrive
I am eternally fascinated by what makes people groove and what it truly takes to design and experience living an incredible life.
And if there’s one thing I’ve discovered, it’s that fearlessly uncovering our purpose and following our dreams takes courage and perseverance.
Getting out of the rut you’re stuck in doesn’t take more work, it takes doing something different. And doing something different requires that you get out of your comfort zone.
But when you do take that first step, you start to generate the momentum that will attract the information, solutions, resources and energy you need to change your business and life in ways that you can’t even imagine!

I truly appreciate the time you have just taken to read this, and am deeply grateful for the tremendous gifts and connections that I experience in my work and life.
Forever in awe of this journey,
Leah Goard
